Instrument-assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a treatment that helps release myofascial restrictions and help improve blood circulation. These special tools help to mobilise myofascial adhesions and scar tissue, using a scrapping technique. This method of sports therapy has been gaining popularity recently, especially among athletes and sports rehabilitation.
Here are the benefits of IASTM:
We have a wide range of Stainless Steel IASTM tools, ranging in the different sizes and curvature to target every type of major and minor muscle groups. We ensure that every IASTM tool we have are properly disinfected and sanitised before each session. We will also apply some oilment or cream before the scrapping to reduce abrasion on the skin. You will experience some redness however as there is an increased blood flow on that particular point.
